Just got done watching it -- and I have a sneaking suspicion that this whole story is going to be a fabrication from Michelangelo's head, a dream he got when he touched the remote with his foot.
My theory: His toe got zapped by the remote, sending him into a state of shock and rendering him unconscious. The result of this event causes him to have a dream filled with science fiction undertones (akin to what he wanted to watch on TV earlier).
Of course, that's just a theory.
It was bad, but not too horrendous. The theme song is terrible, the animation unsettling, but the story is plausible and the action tolerable, if nothing else. Not the best of the series, but not to be considered blasphemous.

That's what I thought, too, when I was posting. My guess is that Cody's time window device is something to keep viewers in question about the story.

Damn, I've just encountered a few TMNT "fans" who actually like the utter crap that is FastForward. Can you believe it, people? Looks like there are some people out there that will accept any filth and garbage with open arms just because it has "Ninja Turtles" written all over it. And speaking of FastForward, I decided to share with you all the letter that Dan Berger sent to me in replying to my letter that I sent to the Mirage guys stressing my disapproval. He answered some of my questions and comments and revealed some sad truth... Yup. This situation totally sucks. Will the 2003 series even return?

Hey! I was one of those fans who you said liked it.I don't like everything that has the Ninja Turtle name on it.I guess i just can't share your hate for FF cuz I saw like 5 episodes of the 2003 series so i can't really compare them.I am not a "fan" of FF I just think people should wait and see more sure you've seen three episodes but theres been bad 03 episodes right?

I guess i just can't share your hate for FF cuz I saw like 5 episodes of the 2003 series so i can't really compare them. See, there's the problem right there. If you did regularly watch the 2003 series, you'd know how superior it is to FasterForward. Comparing the 2003 series to FastForward is like comparing Jackie Chan to Pauly Shore, or comparing Gameboy Advance to Virtual Boy, or comparing pizza to a ricecake, or comparing a bucket of icecream to a sack of human waste. I believe you get what I'm saying. Seriously, watch the 2003 series. It's pure gold.

Bleah... so then its true ...pure marqueting... I really hope that at least we get some closure with the lost season at least on DVD or something..
I loved the new show there was definetly nothing wrong with it , the only thing thats wrong is that they stoped it at a terrible time with a huge cliffhanger
thanks Ryona for showing us your letter so we can have some idea on whats going on ..even if the response wasnt something that we wanted to hear...

Thats a bunch of bull, Batman the animated series was able to tell 100s of adult themed stories and that show was marketed towards kids and adults!
Kids will buy and watch whatever has action in it, so why cant the turtles stick to mature styled stories?
If I want to watch the turtles say coreny things and make jokes non stop I'll just watch the orginal TMNT cartoon on DVD.

i agree with all of you with some parts but there nothing we can do and no matter how much we complain its not going to really help.
Yes! it very corney and the last seris is better then Fast forward!
I think Fast forward fine! and they trying to get back to the present and if you dont want to watch it then that all fine! but you can just give it a chance! (sorry if i sound a little nasty)
And mabe they return to the old seris if not! thats ,thats nuthing we can do about it but nuthing wrong with letting out our fustration also. im just disapionted that most of you dont like it but thats not really my problem.
and i totally agree with you there Raven all the way! but i do they will just continue nuthing was wrong with that seris.
And no im not on Fast forward side!

I was thinkin about that earlier when I was reading some post saying the original movie was PG-13 but they edited down to be PG(if thats correct) but yet Batman is more adult like themes and kids and parents dont say shit!!!

Oh boy, do I have a lot to say about this piece of wonderfuly carved...ah, who am I kidding? It's just the old show + new toon with a dash of The Next Mutation. Awful...
I have only watched the first episode, and I can just say I do not like it one bit. Some things are cool, like the gravity zones, but, let me be blunt about this, it is most likely not scientifically possible. If we had gravity zones on earth, we would probably be compacted when one of the zones is broken. MAJOR flaw there. Not to mention the way to stop being crushed by gravity. Retro duds? Come on. Just throw in some technobabble and everything seems to come into a nice, complete circle for the writers. I personally wish that they actually attempted to bring something that the 2003 series provided. Have the series lighter, but don't have it so then it is like a completely different show. Just have it as a mini-series with a few episodes in the future, Splinter and the turtles going home, each some how changed by their experiences, and not to mention fearing the future for some great evil that it holds.
Artwork. Do. Not. Get. Me. Started. On. Artwork. *holds her head in her hands* It is just...weird. I like the idea of different heights, but why the hell did they make it that Raph had a growth spurt, and Mikey got crushed by gravity? It's just not right. Most people would have them roughly the same height, only an inch or two difference between each brother. Not "OMG! Raph is going to be, like, a BASKETBALL PLAYER!!11!!1!" People just need to know that some kids are smarter than others and will not watch. I have an nine year old boy who lives next door to me, and he doesn't even like the new series. He thought that it sounded good, so he watched the first ep with me on YouTube, and when we both finished we both were horrified. All he wants is the new turtles to say, and leave Fast Forward alone. After watching FF I treated him to the first episode on Ninja Tribunal, and he was hyped for the rest of the day. He LOVED the episode, and he was dying to see the rest of it. That made me surprised; he is within the target audience for Fast Forward, yet his hates it. However, Ninja Tribunal, the series that was replaced by a "better" FF, made him go over the moon. Is there something wrong with him, or just something wrong with the writers?
I know that the people who work on Fast Forward are artists, like many of us here. I love my turtles, and they influence my life when I was even five years old, and that was with the Next Mutation. Possibly kids around that age group will love Fast Forward, but everyone else with a fully developed brain can see the obvious and cringe-worthy puns, the bright and colorful color scheme and, dare I say it? IT'S NINJA TIME! *shudders* It's just not right. It's like taking Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and drawing a huge mostashe on her face. It's like taking the Great Wall of China and graffiting on it. It's just destroying a master piece.
Oh, and I'm not going to even bother with Cody. Bleh.
Fast Forward does have it's pros, but the cons out weigh it for me. As much as I wished for Fast Forward to be a hit like the new movie poster before it was edited (and may I point out how well that trailer was after about a few months). Unfortunatly, I guess Fast Forward wasn't listening to me, but the advertising campain. It's just not right for me. Please, for those who like Fast Forward, don't be offended by my ranting. I really needed to get that off of my chest. That is my honest opinion of it. Thanks. *goes back to watching her DVDs of the 2003 show*
