I was just wondering how many here have been to a convention? Comics, star trek, or anime con? Or what ever they have. For me, for the last two years I have been able to make it to Wizard World Chicago convention and have had the chance to meet some really cool people....and those that just freak me out. geocities.com/black_bird903/conventions2.htmlI'm heading back next week, I'll have more photos from that event soon.

I'd love to attend a Wizard con. I've attended some small-time cons in the past, though -- local stuff held at community colleges and bingo halls. I'd really like to go to a big time comic-con, but the only thing that turns me off is the crowd factor.

I've gone to a couple of comic/anime conventions myself. They're always fun. I actually got to meet Peter Laird and the Mirage crew twice. AND here's a funny story... My friends and I went to a restaurant called "Hooters" (a restaurant where all the waitresses are big-breasted and wear skimpy outfits) after the convention closed for the night, and who do we see walk in 15 minutes later? The Mirage crew! lol I was like "Hi!", and we chatted for a bit.

I just attended the Anime Expo in Anaheim and the Comic Con in San Diego I went with my sister and we had a lot of fun, at the con I met again kevin eastman and stan sakai I was really happy about that but a little dissapointed cause there was basically no TMNT stuff to be found even with the upcoming movie....besides that it was a lot of fun

~I've been attending the San Diego ComicCon off and on since 1991.
In the past the Mirage crew has been there, but not in recent years. It's too bad you missed the movie sneak peek and Kevin Munroe panel, zkarlette. It was on Thursday afternoon and you really had to study the schedule to find it.
Hopefully with the film being released in March there will be more Turtle-related stuff next year. As I mentioned elsewhere we should have a TMNT Fan Table set up somewhere on the convention hall floor, so I'll try and keep y'all posted.
