Alright who here loves this movie? The first film is such a great movie, it has great effects considering the budget they were on. Plus every one delievers on there parts, some of the best acting you can find. Its to bad Brandon had to die during the filming. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN5Y6akovTM

Awesome book, awesome movie. Hell, my username says it all. When I first saw this film I was blown away by the atmosphere and mood it permiated throughout its entirety. Then, when I read the graphic novel, I got so much more out of the story.
After more than a decade, it's still one of my most favorite films/comic book stories of all time.

I had a chance a while back to meet James O'barr who created the crow, he was extremly quiet, the people behind him who I'm guessing where his friends did all the talking for him.
Just the way he sat and looked around had a very morbid feel to it, its not surprising to see how he came up with such great dark things for the comic book.

I saw the featurette on the DVD of the first film, the one with the interview with him. I couldn't fathom how dark and dreary his life was. I said to myself, "This is so tragic." For him to go on and continue with his work is a great thing, though.
